First, check to see if your watch has a screw down crown. Gently try to pry the crown away from the case- if it doesn't move, then twist the crown counterclockwise until it springs away from the case.

CHANGING THE TIME
Pull the crown of the watch all the way out. If your watch has a date or day function, twist the crown of the watch clockwise until the hands pass hour 12. If the date function advanced forward, then you have just passed midnight, and if the date does not change after passing 12, then you have passed noon. Continue turning the crown until you reach the correct time.

CHANGING THE DATE
If your watch has a date or day window, you will need to adjust this function too. Push the crown in to its shortest position. Then, pull it back out slowly until it clicks only once. Turn the crown counterclockwise until you reach the correct date. Once the date is set correctly, push the crown back in all the way. If you have a screw down crown, apply pressure to the crown as you twist the crown in at the same time.
WINDING YOUR WATCH
AUTOMATIC TIME KEEPING
All Elm Street Watches are automatic. This means that as you wear the watch throughout the day, the watch will automatically wind itself. If you go extended periods of time without wearing the watch, though, you will have to re-wind the watch.
PULLING OUT THE CROWN
To do this, check again to see if your watch has a screw down crown by pulling gently on the crown. If it does not pull out with ease then turn the crown counterclockwise until it springs away from the case.
WINDING THE SPRING
Whithout pulling it out further, turn the crown clockwise. You should feel the crown clicking. If the watch is completely depleted of power, you should only need to turn the watch roughly 10 times, as it will continue to wind itself throughout wear.
